What is line boring?
Line boring involves machining or restoring a shaft housing (pivot point) to specification directly on the equipment, without disassembling or transporting it to a workshop. Our portable tooling mounts on the machine and performs the machining with precision.

What is your line boring capacity?

Does the equipment need to be disassembled?
In most cases, no. That is precisely the advantage of portable boring. Our equipment attaches directly to the machine. Some jobs may require partial disassembly, but we assess that in advance.
Do you include weld buildup?
Yes, weld buildup prior to boring is included in our process, where applicable. This is how we achieve OEM tolerances even on heavily worn housings.
How long does boring take?
